Nepal national football team (men's) to play two friendly matches against India in Dasarath Stadium on September 2 and 5, 2021. Both Nepal and India have started match preparation for the upcoming 13th edition of the SAFF Championship that will be held in Maldives from October 1-13, 2021. The last time Nepal played with India was in June 2017 held in Mumbai where India defeated Nepal by 2-0.Nepal and India both have reached the third round of the Asian Cup Qualifiers 2023. The qualification matches will be played in February 2022.
